How to add new domain in cPanel

If you have purchased a new domain and would like to use it with your web server, you need to add the domain to your web server first. But before that, you need to ensure the domain’s DNS is already pointed at or pointing to your web server.

Step 1 – Login into cPanel.

Step 2 – Click on “Addon Domains” under “Domains”.

Step 3 – Type the new domain in the blank field. FTP user and directory path are generated automatically. Create a password for the account as well.

Step 4 – Click “Add Domain” after you have filled in the details.

Step 4 – A success message will pop up to inform you that you have successfully added your new domain into cPanel.
