- The cycle of domain ownership is known as the domain life cycle. After you purchase a domain, you will receive an email confirming that the domain has been successfully registered. This is also the first letter of your domain name. Following your successful domain name acquisition, the domain lifespan is separated into five parts.
- Your domain will be enabled when you make a successful payment.
- Domain deactivation — Your domain will be deactivated for 30 days after it expires.
- Domain redemption time — Following the deactivation period, your domain will enter a 30-day redemption period. If you opt to redeem your domain within this time, you will be charged an additional USD200 redemption cost (which will be translated to MYR) plus the renewal fee.
